(b) client and account information, including account details, site addresses, billing details, service records, contract information, payment history and authorised contact lists;
(c) security operations information, including alarm response records, patrol logs, incident reports, access logs, visitor registers, contractor attendance records, key register information, duress alarm records, control room notes, call recordings and dispatch records;
(d) CCTV, video, audio and image information, including CCTV footage, video verification clips, still images, body-worn camera footage if used, intercom recordings, access control images and monitoring centre video data;
(e) access control and building security information, including swipe card records, entry and exit logs, PIN codes, access permissions and site attendance data;
(f) employment and contractor information, including resumes, qualifications, licences, security licence details, police checks, working with children checks, right-to-work information, training records, performance records, payroll details, tax and superannuation information, emergency contacts and workplace incident records;
(g) sensitive information, where reasonably necessary for our functions or activities, including criminal history information, health information relating to workplace safety or incident response, security licence information and working with children check information. Sensitive information is generally subject to a higher level of privacy protection; and

(c) through security systems, including CCTV, alarms, access control systems, intercoms, duress systems, monitoring platforms, visitor management systems and patrol reporting systems;
(d) from third parties, including police, emergency services, insurers, regulators, licensing authorities, credit reporting bodies, background check providers, labour hire providers, subcontractors and technology providers;
(e) from publicly available sources, where relevant to our security, compliance or business functions; or
(f) automatically through our website, portals, mobile applications or cloud-based systems.
Where practical, we collect personal information directly from the individual concerned. However, given the nature of security services, we may also collect information indirectly, for example where a client provides site access information or where CCTV footage captures individuals at a monitored site.
5. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information
We may collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for the following general business purposes:
(a) to provide security services, including guarding, patrols, alarm monitoring, CCTV monitoring, alarm response, access control, security installation and maintenance;
(b) to communicate with clients, authorised representatives, emergency contacts, site contacts, contractors and service providers;
(c) to manage client accounts, contracts, billing, credit control and service delivery;
(d) to consider employment applications;
(e) to investigate, or assist law enforcement or government bodies in investigating, actual or suspected criminal activity;
(f) to improve our services, systems, training, risk management and business operations;
(g) to protect our legal rights, property, personnel, clients and the public;
(h) to send service updates, administrative communications and, where permitted, marketing communications; and
(i) to comply with legal requirements or for any other purpose you have consented to.

As a security services provider, we may collect and handle CCTV footage, access control logs, alarm data, intercom recordings, call recordings, duress alarm data, patrol records and other security-related information.
This information may be collected at client sites, our premises, vehicles, monitoring centres, control rooms or through security systems we operate or support.
Where we operate CCTV or monitoring systems on behalf of a client, the client may also have its own privacy obligations and policies. In some cases, we act as a service provider or processor for that client and handle personal information in accordance with our contract with them.
